A press conference on

"Presenting of the economic map of the cross-border region and the developed competence catalogs for 40 professions with potential for labor mobility"

will be held on 8 February 2018, Thursday, at 11:00, in Constanta, Romania.

The event is part of the project "Building a sustainable model and a partner network to support employment and labor mobility in the cross-border area Bulgaria-Romania”, funded by the European Regional Development Fund. It is implemented by Industrial Association Veliko Tarnovo in partnership with the Bulgarian Industrial Associtaion and Constanta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture - CCINA Constanta.

The results will be presented by:

  • Ion Danut Juganaru – Director General, Constanta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture – CCINA Constanta;
  • Luiza Cerbula – Project coordinator, Constanta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture – CCINA Constanta;
  • Ludovic Fraico – Expert, Constanta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture – CCINA Constanta;
  • Mitko Gospodinov – Executive director, Industrial Association Veliko Tarnovo;
  • Zhechko Dimitrov – Program director, Bulgarian Industrial Association;
  • Tomcho Tomov – Director, National Center for Competence Assessment at Bulgarian Industrial Association.

During the press conference, the results of the activities will be presented, including

  • competence catalogs for 40 professions with potential for labor mobility;
  • sectoral analysis of the cross - border area and information on the socio - economic development;
  • 5 identified major economic sectors with potential for labor mobility;
  • about 1106 identified businesses with potential for labor mobility in the cross-border area, which are included in an online catalog with contact details and short company profiles;
  • 91 enterprises with extended company profiles.
